Contract packing for the drinks industry
The seasonal nature of the drinks industry, with a peak four months up to and including Christmas and New Year, means the capacity to process large volumes of product is important. TDG Mossend is a bonded site able to process up to 25,000 bottles in a week. They offer a full range of support: repacking support, preparing and packing gift packs or glass sets, adding neck collars, ribbons or seals or inserting promotional leaflets into gift packs. Specialist support: removing labels and re-labelling bottles, preparing tax stamps and export paperwork and quality inspection of bottles, cartons or cases can all be undertaken.
“I cannot emphasise enough how important the quality issue is for us. Having followed tightly managed processes in-house throughout the manufacturing process, it was vital that we did not hit problems during this last part of the product production cycle. I am pleased to say we are delighted with the service provided by TDG.”
