CommScope Selects TDG for European Logistics
CommScope, a global leader in infrastructure solutions for communications networks, has selected TDG to be its single Northern Europe logistics service provider.
European supply chain specialist, TDG, will run the full warehouse-operation, which includes VAL-activities like cable-cutting and extended kitting-processes in TDG’s Veenendaal facilities. TDG has taken care of all of CommScope’s warehouse activities in Hilversum for the last 18 years. The CommScope operation will be transferred from Hilversum to Veenendaal later this year. In effect this then finalises the integration of four different warehouse locations across Europe into a single European hub situated at Veenendaal in the Netherlands.

The warehouse-operation in Veenendaal, managed by TDG, will be a key selling point for CommScope, including its Andrew Solutions business.

TDG also manages leading cable operator UPC’s entire supply chain including kitting and order handling.
