TDG is committed to putting safety first at every turn. Safer drivers save lives – they also save time, money and impact on the environment. Our experience and expertise across a range of driver training areas, including Health and Safety and moving chemical and hazardous goods, is helping to raise driving standards across the industry.
5-Star CPC accredited driver training and development
TDG’s award-winning 5-Star Development Programme for LGV drivers and MHV operatives is among the best in the industry and is continually updated to remain compliant with changing industry and legislative responsibilities. Our course meets the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and was developed to give our drivers the very best training so they can work as safely and efficiently as possible.
- Our 5-Star training course for LGV drivers now meets the requirements of the CPC as laid down by the 2003 EU Directive
- Our 13 LGV instructors are registered with the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) or are currently working towards registration
- TDG is accredited with the Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register (ITSSAR) – ensuring consistency across the board
- All TDG’s MHE instructors are ITSSAR registered so we can undertake in-house examinations to meet demand
- Every year all TDG drivers and operatives have to dedicate a full day to refreshing their knowledge and honing their skills
Industry-leading ADR driver training courses
TDG offers ADR driving training courses for drivers from all over the UK. Our courses are taught by experienced drivers and trainers with no more than 16 participants at one time. They are open to owner-operators, corporate customers and individual drivers wishing to up-skill and gain an ADR licence. We operate three dedicated training sites at Batley in West Yorkshire, Leicester and Manchester. We are proud to have trained thousands of drivers over nearly two decades, with some of the best past rates in the country.
