Acquiring skills, fulfilling ambitions, developing talent
We know that to remain successful we need to have a flexible workforce. To do this we need to have employees who have the skills to do their job and possibly other roles too. An experienced workforce is also important. So where opportunities exist, we encourage our employees to explore new roles and to take up new challenges.
We recruit to fill specific vacancies and we also run a Management Trainee scheme (for details of the next intake contact us). And once you’ve joined the company, in whatever role, you’ll have the opportunity to check your progress and discuss your aspirations as part of our development review process.
Identifying and meeting current training needs as well as offering learning and advancement opportunities is key. Our in-house learning & development facility provides a range of courses to meet most needs. If necessary we’ll bring in external trainers.
Our courses range from the academic through to practical help with using computers, as well as our industry-acclaimed 5-star Driver & MHE Operator Training Scheme. There’s something for everyone. Why not take a look at our Learning & Development Policy.
Our HR department regularly review the content of the TDG Academy training programme to make sure it meets the needs of our people and our business
