Turning 'green logistics' into a reality

What’s good for the environment is often better for your bottom line

Reducing fuel miles, energy consumption and waste, not only benefits the environment, it’s likely to save you money too. Here’s an example: through collaboration with Kimberly-Clark and Kellogg’s, TDG has reduced annual fuel miles by 270,000 with a corresponding drop in diesel consumption of more than 140,000 litres per year. The combined environmental benefits equate to annual savings of 380,000kgs CO₂, and a 7% reduction in transport costs for both manufacturers.
