By providing demand forecasting, inventory management and transport consolidation (often via a shared fleet) TDG can lower costs and improve efficiencies both within the supplier’s logistics operation and ultimately within their (and TDG’s) customer’s supply chain.

Our inbound supply chain management proposition varies according to the complexity of the situation, delivering most benefit when we offer consolidation services for multiple suppliers to one manufacturer or retailer. We can integrate several suppliers’ inbound activities, providing shared transport and intermediate warehousing before final delivery to point of consumption.

Who does this best suit? Multiple small manufacturers and wholesalers deliver to the same large customer and large customers who receive multiple small deliveries.
