Mike Branigan - FCILT, Chief Executive
Mike was appointed Chief Executive of TDG in February 2009, having worked extensively across the entire group since 2001, including stints in The Netherlands and Ireland. Mike gained a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Engineering from RIT in Rochester NY, and an MSc from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He has held various consultancy posts within the industry and has worked for companies as diverse as Coopers & Lybrand and Levi Strauss, where he was Head of Distribution EMEA.
Ian Pringle – Executive Director

David Thomas – Financial Director
David joined TDG in 1988 and was appointed Finance Director in 2010. He is a qualified accountant and holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde. David’s early industrial experience included time working with Massey Ferguson and Low and Bonar.
Paul Singh – CMILT, Strategic Projects Director

Kevin Richardson – FCILT, Strategic Development Director
Kevin has more than 30 years’ experience in the logistics and supply chain sector and has worked extensively across Western Europe in solution design, change management, implementation and strategic development. He joined TDG in 1991 and has held a number of senior positions at Divisional, Group and Executive Team level that have included operational, project management, commercial, strategic and technical responsibilities. In his current role Kevin focuses on development through acquisitions, new market entry and strategic projects. In 2009 he established operations for TDG in Hungary and has recently led the successful acquisition of a 4PL business in that country. Kevin has a BA (Hons) degree in Geography from Leicester University.
Rupert Nichols – FCILT, Legal Director/Company Secretary
Rupert joined TDG in March 2010 as Legal Director and Company Secretary and is responsible for corporate services, risk and insurance, compliance and governance. As a solicitor and Chartered Secretary, Rupert has practiced law in the UK and abroad, and has provided commercial legal advice to a number of companies. Rupert was a part-time Managing Partner of BDO Stoy Hayward in Manchester, prior to its integration into a national firm. In 2002 he was appointed executive director of TNT Logistics (now CEVA) with responsibility for UK legal affairs and corporate services, and Group Secretary for CEVA Group Plc and Regional GC.
David Bermingham – Managing Director, UK Contract Logistics
David is Managing Director of TDG's UK contract logistics and transport business unit. He joined the company in 2010 following a successful 17-year career at CEVA (formerly TNT Logistics), which included time as Managing Director of its multi-user logistics network. He was also instrumental in establishing the TNT Network Logistics operation, building on its core newspaper distribution service.
Martin Palmer – Shared User Business Unit Director
Martin manages the Shared User Warehousing business unit at TDG and led TDG’s UK business development team for four years from 2006. After graduating with a degree in Marketing and Business Studies from the University of Greenwich, Martin worked in the direct marketing and publishing sectors for seven years before moving into logistics for a more operational business challenge. He played a key role in ADL’s growth and subsequent floatation following its management buyout from Geest. Martin was also Business Development Director at Bibby Distribution for more than five years before moving to a similar role at TDG. Martin is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is a director of the Food Storage and Distribution Federation (FSDF).
David Barron – International Business Unit Director
David joined TDG in April 2001 and has since held a number of commercial and management positions in both the 3PL and international business units. David currently heads TDG’s International Services unit, which covers the Group’s freight forwarding and freight management business with operations in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Eastern Europe and Benelux. Before joining TDG, David spent 6 years with HB Fuller Co in the Speciality Chemicals industry where he held a number of key account management positions before becoming European Strategic Account Manager in 1999.
