TDG continues to develop services for ceramics sector

Tile Association members, and supply chain specialists, TDG International Services, is continuing to develop services for the ceramics sector with weekly services from all major tile markets in Europe and beyond.

The company, which has worked with ceramic importers and manufacturers worldwide for over 20 years bringing products into the country via any of the UK’s 5 major ports and delivering direct to their customers or offering full storage, pick, pack and delivery to door options.

“Whether customers want to bring just one pallet or full container loads of product into the UK, we can take that in our stride” says TDG International services general manager, Adam Fraser. “However big or small the order is though, we believe that clear communication and tailored customer service is the key to offering a great service.   Even though the process is the same for every import it is particularly important that each client is treated individually.  The team here and in our overseas offices are continually on the phone to ceramics factories, hauliers and shipping lines, proactively advising our customers of any delays or potential problems.

One such customer was Craig Morley of Tiles UK. “We had an issue with one of our shipments being delayed by bad weather, but TDG not only kept in touch with the driver until the drop had been made - outside office hours - but also kept me in the loop too. I was really impressed.”

TDG International Services, offers a comprehensive worldwide import and export service.

Employing over 300 staff in the business, TDG International Services’ turnover has tripled turnover in the past three years. It has offices in the UK, Ireland, Benelux, Spain and Hungary.
