TDG wins three year contract extension on Argos business

A new three-year extension has been agreed between TDG and Argos for TDG to continue running Argos’ distribution centre at Mossend in Scotland*.

In addition, TDG will cross-dock Homebase kitchens and bathrooms and Argos Direct Home Delivery products at Mossend.  Cross-docking is an efficient system which involves unloading materials from one vehicle, and transferring it directly onto an outbound vehicle – enabling better and faster deliveries to customers.

TDG has operated the distribution for Argos since 2004, and has won a number of operational, charity and sporting accolades. TDG was awarded ‘Site of the Year’ by Argos Distribution in 2010, for highest scores against criteria including customer service, deliveries on time, site engagement and stock management performance.
