Tesco Fuels case study: helping this retailer meet customer fuel demands

Tesco is the UK’s leading supermarket fuel retailer. Operating 430 filling stations around the country, it sells 6 billion litres annually - and holds an impressive 15% of the total UK fuel market. Each Tesco filling station sells between 40,000 to 200,000 litres of fuel daily, increasing by up to 20% during promotions and Bank Holidays.

Tesco first approached TDG in 1990. Following a trial in which TDG proved that they could meet Tesco's exacting requirements , a working relationship which has helped change the face of the retail fuel market.
